What's new

What changed in Monexa Hub: new features, improvements and fixes.

Bonuses on lent shares and internal transfers now count in your B3 position

If you lend your shares, the bonus on the lent shares arrives through the lending contract, not as a bonus. The sync now recognizes those shares. It also uses internal broker transfers to confirm older positions from before the B3 history. Sales of these shares no longer show up as sales without a purchase.

  • FixedBonus shares received on lent shares now count toward the asset quantity.
  • FixedInternal broker transfers confirm positions from before the B3 history.

Assets with sales but no recorded purchase leave the portfolio

When a purchase note was missing, the asset showed up in the portfolio with a negative quantity and a "missing buys" tag. Now it stays out of the portfolio until the purchases appear, and the notification lists which tickers are affected and takes you straight to their transactions.

  • ImprovedThe portfolio shows only assets you hold; the notification opens the transactions of the ticker with sales but no purchase.

Estimated average price for shares bought before the B3 history

B3 does not report what you paid for shares bought before the history it provides, so they showed up without an average price or return. Now the app estimates the average price from the market value on the date B3 started showing the position, corrected for splits and reverse splits, and marks it as estimated. To confirm the real cost, just edit it in Transactions. The tax report uses the estimate but keeps warning you until you confirm.

  • NewEstimated average price, tagged "estimated", for positions predating the B3 history.
  • FixedThe cost suggestion in the tax report now accounts for splits (it could come out halved before).

Same-day reverse split and split, with lent shares, applied correctly

In April 2025 Vivo (VIVT3) did a 40-to-1 reverse split and, on the same day, a 1-to-80 split. For investors with shares lent out, B3 reports the event only on the shares in custody, and the app left the operation pending review, with the wrong quantity. Now the app accounts for the lent shares, checks the ratios and applies the operation, reaching the same quantity B3 shows.

  • FixedSame-day reverse split and split applied even with part of the shares lent out.

Ticker changes recognized even with purchases before the B3 history

When a company changes its ticker, as Telefônica did when converting VIVT4 into VIVT3, the app moves your shares to the new code. If some of them were bought before the history B3 provides, the change was not recognized and the new code showed an incomplete position. Now the change is checked broker by broker, and older shares the statement proves move to the new code, awaiting their cost.

  • FixedTicker change recognized when some shares predate the B3 history.

Shares bought before the B3 history show up when the statement proves them

B3 only delivers trades from a few years back, and shares bought earlier went missing, with an incomplete position warning. Now, when the statement itself proves you already held those shares, because they were lent out (securities lending) or received a split before B3 reported the gap, the portfolio includes them. Their average price is not in the statement: they show up for you to enter the cost.

  • FixedShares lent out or split before the start of the B3 history are added to the portfolio, awaiting their cost.

LCI and LCA from B3 show a name and ask for the rate

An LCI or LCA brought in from B3 showed the security code, such as 25F08576475, and a 0% return. Now the name shows the type and the bank, with the code below it. Since B3 does not report the rate, the security is tagged "add the rate": edit the purchase and fill in, for example, 95% of CDI, to see its return.

  • ImprovedFixed-income securities from B3 show type and issuer instead of the code.
  • New"Add the rate" tag on securities still shown at the invested amount for lack of a rate.

Faster B3 sync for options traders

If you have a long options history, every B3 sync took minutes. The app no longer looks up, every time, information that can't change anymore, such as series that have already expired. In a portfolio with more than 200 series, the sync went from about two and a half minutes to under 10 seconds, with the same result.

  • ImprovedOption lookups made during the sync are reused instead of repeated.

Bonuses and splits across brokers now come in full

If you held the same security at more than one broker, a bonus or split came as one line per broker, and the portfolio kept only one of them. Now the lines are added up, and the quantity matches B3's again.

  • FixedFractions sold at auction that B3 reports with zero quantity now leave the position.
