What's new

What changed in Monexa Hub: new features, improvements and fixes.

Copy the ticker in one click

Next to each ticker, an icon copies it so you can paste it straight into your broker's trading screen. It works in open options, in every Analyses list and on the asset page.

P/E on recurring earnings for foreign stocks

When a foreign stock's 12-month earnings include a one-off gain or charge, such as selling a stake, the page also shows the P/E on recurring earnings. That is the one used in valuations, the score and the rankings. And automakers with their own bank, such as Toyota and GM, have their debt measured without the credit they extend to customers.

  • NewRecurring P/E on the stock page and a notice when earnings include a one-off item.
  • ImprovedValuations, score, "Cheapest" and "Lowest P/E" use recurring earnings: Amazon goes from a P/E of 20 to 33, and McCormick from 8.7 to 16.4.
  • FixedToyota and Deere no longer fail on debt: the debt of the automaker's bank funds the cars and machines sold on credit.
  • FixedA company with a loss caused only by a one-off charge is no longer left out of the rankings.

ADRs from around the world and BDRs with the company's numbers

Foreign stocks now live inside Stocks, in a B3 | Foreign selector, just like ETFs. We added 64 ADRs from other countries, such as TSMC, Toyota, Alibaba, ASML and Shell, with P/B and Graham converted at the exchange rate and checked against the filings sent to the SEC. And BDRs now show the indicators of the company they represent.

  • NewCountry filter with real content: Japan, China, Taiwan, the UK, India, Korea and more.
  • NewBDRs such as AAPL34, TSMC34 and BERK34 with the foreign company's P/E, P/B, margins and 10-year history, and its country's valuation yardstick.
  • ImprovedForeign ADRs show P/B, EV/EBITDA, FCF and Graham again when the balance sheet matches the one filed with the SEC.
  • FixedP/B of ADRs such as HSBC and BP, which came out up to 4 times too high.
  • FixedHistory margins of US REITs and insurers, which used only part of the revenue.

Foreign stocks in Analysis

New Foreign tab with S&P 500, Nasdaq-100 and Dow Jones stocks plus Brazilian companies traded in New York, with four rankings and filters by index, country and sector. Yahoo's numbers are now checked against official SEC filings, and each stock's page gained its 10-year history.

  • NewCheapest, Most solid, Highest yield (net of the 30% US withholding) and Growing dividends rankings.
  • NewFilter by the company's country: an ADR trades in New York but shows up under its home country (Taiwan, Netherlands, China…).
  • NewOn a US stock's page: 10 years of revenue, earnings and margins, F-score, Altman and P/E against its own history, from SEC filings.
  • FixedFree cash flow now comes from the filings (Microsoft showed 3 billion instead of 60).
  • FixedADRs of foreign companies (ASML, TSM) no longer show P/B and Graham values that mixed euros or Taiwan dollars with the dollar price.
  • FixedBerkshire class B P/B fixed, and companies with negative equity (McDonald's) no longer show P/B or ROE.

Compare ETFs, BDRs and foreign stocks

You can now compare an ETF with another from the same market, a BDR with another BDR and a foreign stock with another, such as BBD and META. Each asset shows its type in the comparison, and the screen tells you when two different types cannot go side by side.

  • NewSide-by-side comparison on the ETF page: B3 with B3 and foreign with foreign.
  • NewComparison between BDRs and between foreign stocks.
  • ImprovedEach asset's type appears in the comparison, and an ETF no longer passes as a stock.
  • FixedIn drawdown, the star now goes to whichever fell less.
  • FixedIn the comparison, Bazin, Graham and Lynch now match each asset's page.

P/E and P/B on foreign ETF pages

Foreign ETF pages now show the P/E and P/B of the companies inside the fund, when that data exists. And on mobile, the highlighted number for each ETF in Analyses now has a label saying what it is.

  • NewP/E and P/B on foreign ETF pages, the same numbers as the ranking.
  • ImprovedOn mobile, ETF ranking cards say whether the highlight is P/E and P/B, real cost or score.

Sign in with a different Google account

If you have more than one Google account in your browser, you can now choose which one to use: the sign-in screen has a new "Sign in with a different Google account" option.

  • NewSign-in screen option to choose your Google account.

Long-term simulator opens with fees and dividends

When you simulate an asset for the first time, the management fee and dividend yield now come filled in for stocks, REITs and ETFs, with no need to open its page first. If the source is slow to respond, the screen says so instead of showing a zero yield.

  • FixedAn asset not yet looked up opened with a zero dividend yield and, for foreign ETFs, with no fee.
